Is Our Passion

My name is Gerard Merchant and I am the owner and operator of Merchant Adjusting.  I am a dedicated servant leader to God first and foremost. It is much better to do things His way and not waver. I am a husband to my best friend and biggest supporter, with our 3 wonderful  children. I am a dedicated friend that desires to see the most favorable outcome for everyone I meet. I am a loyal, loving brother regardless of anyone who has wronged me. My Godly morals and ethics cause me to live this way. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve and will provide the shirt off of my back if needed.  My purpose and work are aligned and adjusting claims is what I am passionate about. I have serviced multiple states as a catastrophe adjuster and local field adjuster in Indiana for my entire insurance career. I will ask as we work together please do me a favor and review these 7 Essential Rules I aim to live by. In following these rules, I know we will have a successful work relationship:
 

1.    Let it Go – Never ruin a good day by thinking about a bad yesterday!
2.    Ignore Them – Don’t listen to naysayers. Live a life that’s empowering to you!
3.    Give it Time – Time heals everything! Trust me!
4.    Don’t Compare – The only person you should try to beat is the person you were yesterday! 
5.    Stay Calm – It’s okay not to have everything figured out. Know that in time, you’ll get there!
6.    It’s on YOU – You are in charge of your happiness!
7.    SMILE – Life is too short. Enjoy it while you have it! I am!
